Men's Club Breakfast

Join the Men's Club each month for breakfast, schmooze and a speaker. You don't have to be a member of the Men's Club to participate.

Everyone is welcome to come and hear the speaker at no charge. There is also no charge for the brunch if you are a Men's Club member (new TAS males are automatically Men's Club members for the 1st year), you become a Men's Club member, or you are considering becoming a Men's Club member, and will be our guest for this one meeting. Otherwise there will be a $5 charge for the brunch.


2009-2010 Breakfast Schedule (9:45 a.m.)
  • Oct. 4 - Our kickoff brunch (pun intended) will feature speaker Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton, sports talk show host and announcer. Hacksaw is a Mens Club favorite as this will be the 17th year he will be our brunch speaker. Note special date.

  • Nov. 8 - Our second brunch of the year will feature speaker John Bjeldanes, a financial analyst and management consultant who currently concentrates on athletic facilities and community centers.

  • Dec. 6 - This month we are honored to have Vice Admiral Kauderer as our speaker coinciding with Pearl Harbor Memorial Day.

  • Jan. 10 - Speaker Judy Friedel reviews the San Diego Jewish Film Festival with clips of selected features.

  • Feb. 7 - Rabbi David Castiglione answers your questions (note special date).

  • Mar. 14 - Speaker Adam Weiner is a physics instructor and author of the book Don't Try This at Home! The Physics of Hollywood Movies.

  • Apr. 18 - Speaker Woody Norris will discuss amazingly successful inventions.

  • May 2 - "Mothers Day" Brunch, Speaker Noah Hadas, the Director of Community Adult Education at the Agency for Jewish Education in San Diego County (note special date).
